Chief Executive Officer, North East LHIN
Louise Paquette was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the North East Local Health Integration Network (NE LHIN) March 1, 2010. Prior to this role, she served as Director General of the Federal Government's Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario (FedNor) for 10 years. She was previously the Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Administrative Officer for the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines. Prior to joining the public sector, Ms. Paquette spent 10 years working in the private sector for a multinational company in Toronto. With a career spanning more than 40 years, Ms. Paquette has received many accolades for her community work and was recognized as “Women of the Decade” by Northern Ontario Business while at the helm of FedNor. Ms. Paquette is also the Chair of the LHINs Mental Health and Addictions Systems Table.
